During this module you will explore emerging technology, practices and guidance around medical imaging. You will explore alternative healthcare systems and compare these to the UK and discuss the merits and challenges of differing approaches. This will include health, cultural, sociological and environmental factors and how these all work together. You will also consider the advancing role of the radiographer and the evolution of NHS services and delivery and how this will shape the way you care for patients in the future.

You will also consider critical appraisal of what is meant by quality and innovation in health and social care across the private, public, and voluntary sector. This will include appraisal and justification of a range of quality improvement approaches and measurements to facilitate change in health and social care.
