During this module, you'll gain a thorough understanding of financial management, and you'll start by summarising financial information in a format useful for decision making. This will lead you to construct and evaluate quantitative models, and from an assessment of the likelihood of future events using past information.

You'll get the chance to analyse problems and opportunities using numerical information, and use this to make inferences based on survey information. You'll also encounter other people's work and evaluate quantitative analysis undertaken by others. As well as identifying casual relationships, you'll also learn to recognise the limitations of quantitative analysis.

This will lead you to assess the main issues in public sector accounting and evaluate the performance of public sector organisations.
