The labour market is the interaction between employers and workers and is the scene of intense competition for the right talent. This module will introduce you to the issues, themes and controversies around it both in the UK and internationally.

You'll evaluate the concept of the 'labour market', and identify and distinguish different kinds of flexibility within. You'll look at various different measurements of job quality, and assess the reasons behind the long-term decline in trade union membership.
