During your second year studies, you learnt the key principles of corporate finance. During this module, you'll build on that with more advanced knowledge and concepts, providing a springboard to a professional career or further study.

You'll learn the key differences between different types of financial markets and securities and the role they play. You'll learn and apply appropriate techniques when evaluating financial assets and investment projects. You'll discuss and compare the role of different sources of external finance, assessing their appropriateness for different situations. Plus, you'll develop the ability to identify and discuss financial issues through the use of analytical tools from economic theory.
