Advanced Taxation

This module will allow you to further develop your knowledge of taxation, providing the springboard to a career as a tax professional.

You'll get the chance to look at advanced topics within taxes already studied, including the interaction of taxes and group corporation tax. You'll assess the impact of overseas income and gains on UK taxation, and critically appraise tax planning and tax avoidance strategies.

In addition, you'll develop your abilities in written communication, numeracy, problem-solving, decision-making, business awareness and time management.
