External uncontrollable factors, or the macro-environment, such as changes in government and/or monetary policy, demographic shifts or major disasters, can affect or even wipe out businesses. How would this affect decision making at the highest level?

At the end of this module, you'll be able to analyse macro-environmental influences on managerial decisions. You'll be able to identify how the broader environment, including international and ecological pressures, generates business problems and recommend solutions. Plus, you'll be adept at critically evaluating the literature relating to the business environment.
