Film and Art: Academic Study and the Workplace

This inter-disciplinary module is taught with the Attenborough Arts Centre, the Career Development Service and the Leicester Learning Institute. It allows you to explore how you might make use of your degree. Working in small groups, you will draw up a proposal for a non-profit making one day ‘film and art’ event. Your group will also design a website to promote your event. Completing these tasks will help you develop transferable skills in areas including team working and numeracy, and will introduce you to career possibilities in areas such as film programming and marketing.
