Water Quality Processes and Management

This module provides an overview of the principal controls on water quality, including point source pollution (organic loads, dissolved oxygen dynamics and down-the-drain chemicals), the effects of agriculture on water quality (nutrient and pesticide losses from land to water) and urban runoff impacts. The module also introduces different sampling strategies and water quality analysis methods, along with hands on experience of water quality sampling and analysis of samples in the laboratory.
