Nowadays, pretty much all engineering products are designed using computer models that solve complicated maths problems to tell us how our engineering products will perform. You can use these simply with basic knowledge, but if you have better knowledge of how they work then the modelling you do can be quicker, more accurate and more realistic. These skills give a big commercial advantages to companies and are therefore make you more employable, and that’s what you will learn in this module.
