Accountants deal with a company’s financial activities and they need to be aware of what laws are in place to protect themselves and their companies from any legal issues. This module will equip you with the different legal requirements that organisations require and what legal actions accountant will need to take when facing their organisations inability to pay back their debts.
Financial dealings within a company and between external companies and investors rely on contractual deals, this module will help you recognise when contracts become legally binding, and how and when to enforce them. This module will also show you how accountants can resolve legal disagreements between employers and their employees before they become huge expensive problems for the company by looking at what rights and duties employers and employees have on each other.
