Responding to Terrorism

This module is centred on the responses employed by the criminal justice system to counter perceived threats from terror and terrorism. This module draws upon relevant examples and case studies of counter terrorism strategies and policies to try and understand how established knowledge concerning terror and terrorism, shapes and influences societal perceptions and the response that such assumptions provoke and justify. You will produce a commentary which will evaluate the models of responses employed by police and other agencies of the criminal justice system.
