Concurrent Design is the simultaneous design and production of a prototype. This module will enable you to develop business ideas and create plans for start-ups, through industry-led projects derived from real-world sources. Leveraging the University of Leicester’s extensive industrial network, this module provides opportunities for direct engagement with potential employers. You will build business plan presentation decks, focusing on start-up development, competitor analysis, marketing strategies, and monetisation. You will also develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using agile methodology, aligning prototypes with industry standards. Emphasis is placed on teamwork in professional environments, with structured roles and responsibilities to mirror real-world project dynamics. This intensive module is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and practical skills essential for entrepreneurial success.
