This module broadens your knowledge on the mathematical techniques necessary for all field of physics. This includes more advanced treatments of vector calculus and Fourier transforms, linear algebra and the calculus of variations.

During this module you will develop the mathematical and problem solving skills that are an essential pre-requisite to year 4 core physics. Alongside lectures, active problem solving workshops and seminars will supplement your learning.
