Researching Media and Public Communication

This module will equip you with the key skills necessary for researching media and public communication, and will allow you to distinguish the relationship between theory and method in the social sciences. By gaining familiarity with the nature of research and the research process, for example, you will become adept at combining quantitative and qualitative approaches.

While demonstrating familiarity with key theories, models and methods for analysing media and public communication along the way, you will build on existing research to design a research project.
