Personal and Research Skills for HR Practitioners

In this module, you'll identify a topic which is suitable for empirical investigation in the dissertation. You'll consider the practical, ethical and theoretical processes underpinning social science research while investigating various aspects of human resource management and employee development.

In preparation for your dissertation, you'll select an appropriate research design, and consider the methods you're going to use. This will involve designing appropriate and feasible research tools to collect qualitative and quantitative data, which you'll use to analyse and discuss in relation to existing literature relevant to the chosen area of research.
