Accounting for Accountability and Decision Making

The module will provide an understanding of the fundamental concepts of accounting systems within financial and management accounting. There will be an investigation of the theoretical elements of accounting within different sectors of the economy including internal/external company accounting and accountability practices.
You will use analytical review techniques to evaluate financial performance, including the application of financial rations. You will be exposed to in depth discussions on the sustainability concepts within accounting, along with impact technology within the sector.
Further discussions will be developed relating to current issues of accounting for accountability and the decision making process.
