Actuarial Sciences Project

This module will give you the chance to undertake a project  and write a dissertation on your research, typical length of the dissertation is about 15,000 words, but no precise minimum length is prescribed, as this will depend on the particular topic chosen, the amount of software development involved, and the applications component. You will typically complement the foundation material of the first part of the year with practical, applied work during the project and the project must contain some original work. If you are interested in MA7006 in Semester 2 you will have the opportunity to discuss your areas of interest with a member of academic staff to agree an initial title which you will need to turn into a research proposal.
