Wills and the Administration of Estates

In this module you'll consider the construction and effect of wills, as well as debate other forms of post death succession. This will include intestacy, the law of survivorship and forfeiture. You'll analyse the treatment of a deceased person's intentions after death, and discuss the justification and methods by which these can be overridden/challenged. Inheritance Tax will be another topic you'll focus on, and you'll learn how to apply its principles in different calculations.
