Near-Surface Geophysics

This module is specific to the Geology with Geophysics degree programme. It introduces the application of near-surface geophysical techniques to environmental monitoring, hydrogeology, and mineral resources (for example, total field magnetic, resistivity sounding, electromagnetic surveying, gamma ray spectroscopy). You will practice the design, operation, and analysis of geophysical surveys.
