This module focuses on different types, modes and purposes of assessment required in tertiary institutions academic subject contexts. You'll consider how the principles of valid and reliable EAP assessment relate to the design of assignments and marking criteria and how to apply them.

You'll develop your knowledge of the principles, procedures and best practices in feedback and feed-forward approaches to assessment, as well as knowledge of the purposes, procedures and best practices when conducting tutorials in an EAP contexts.
