Embedded Systems

Embedded Systems are programmed microelectronics devices allowing operating and control systems to be embedded within an engineering device. This module is a specialist Electronic and Electrical Engineering module where you'll learn how to design, programme and test these systems. This module focuses on single core processors and the design of peripheral devices to suit a given engineering application. Given that embedded systems feature in almost all practical engineering systems, these skills and knowledge will be very valuable for your future career.
