The ‘internet of things’ is connecting our consumer goods, aircraft are becoming ‘more electric’, and it seems likely that electrical cars will soon become the norm.

Everyone will be taking this module because all professional engineers need a sound knowledge of electromagnetic devices, AC and DC circuits, analogue and digital electronics and digital communications. If you are taking Electronic & Electrical Engineering, this module is the starting point for more a detailed study in later years.
