This module is designed to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of statistical concepts and their applications in accounting and finance.  This module introduces fundamental statistical methods and progresses to more advanced techniques, fostering a hands-on approach to data mining, processing and analysis.  You will develop the skills necessary to interpret and analyse statistical data, enhancing their ability to make informed decisions in business and economic contexts.

In your lectures you will cover key topics and they are designed to build upon the previous lectures, gradually advancing your knowledge.  Your seminars will be interactive and you will have the time to apply statistical techniques to real-world problems.
