Preparing for your Placement

This module is centred on helping you develop your understanding of the theories, tools, resources and frameworks to being your career planning. You will identify the transferable skills you have acquired and learn to recognise the gaps in your skill set and pinpoint how you might address these gaps. This module highlights professional skills and professional behaviour, and demonstrates how to promote and present yourself and your transferable skills to employers or institutions. You will gain an appreciation for the importance of your academic qualifications as a route to a career, and have the knowledge, insight, confidence and competence to secure a placement.
