The rise and rise of artificial intelligence is providing numerous tools that are revolutionising all aspects of our life and the world. This module will introduce the foundations of artificial intelligence, giving students an insight into the building blocks of AI systems.

In this module, you will cover:

making rational decisions with software systems
solving search problems, including optimal problem solving
an introduction to machine learning, including topics in language and vision
explore the future challenges and opportunities that AI might bring

You learn several different topics relevant to artificial intelligence, and implement rational systems in Python.
