This module is designed to develop your experimental research skills and give you a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of key molecular biology techniques. This module will demonstrate how to use online bioinformatics/nucleic acid sequence databases for sequence comparisons and PCR primer design. During this module you will develop key scientific principles and develop effective laboratory report writing skills to summarise, present and critically appraise data in the context of the scientific literature.
