This module is designed to refresh your knowledge on human anatomy and physiology. We will provide a comprehensive introduction to basic medical concepts to help you grasp the diversity and biological importance of microbial life, and the meaning of a microbiome. By engaging with basic medical concepts surrounding human anatomy and physiology, you will gain an appreciation for the organisation of complex organisms from molecule to body. This module will develop your study skills for effective working within the university environment, and help you to identify areas for improvement.
