Module Outline

This module considers the different ways in which heritage is performed, through both personal processes of meaning making, and through professional practice. Heritage is made (experienced, claimed, contested, and interpreted) by individuals, communities and audiences, in complex ways. The module provides a usable set of conceptual tools and frameworks that can help you to understand and negotiate the processes, politics, and ethics of heritage making.
