We collect contact details – in particular, name and surname, title (e.g. Dr or Professor), email addresses and institutional affiliations.

Why are we collecting your data?

The purpose of our data collection is outreach and the advertising of our events, such as lectures and seminars, as well as facilitating academic networking.

How we will use this data?

The data will be used to contact/inform you about our regular events programme and individual events (seminars, conferences) and to invite you to specific cooperation on an individual basis.

What is the legal basis for processing the data?

Consent – given by entering your email address in the CELI newsletter box.

If we are sharing your data with others who are we sharing it with?

We are not sharing your data with anyone else outside the University of Leicester.

How long we will process your data for?

3 years
