This module focuses on the history and development of film content, introducing the key issues and theories pertaining to the study of the moving image. By the end of this module, you will have a critical and analytical knowledge of the development of the moving image, have an understanding of the history of cinema attendance, a knowledge of moving image theory and you will be able to carry out analysis of text.
