Module Outline
This module serves as an introduction to some key concepts, debates and controversies concerning the provision of training by states and organisations. Taking the example of the UK, students will examine the development of policy and discuss the factors influencing the amount of training offered by employers and participation in workplace learning. This module will enable students to analyse current developments at the level of the nation state and of the organisation.
