Experimental Economics

Module code: EC3088

All scientific disciplines require systematic and rigorous experiments in order to make observations about the world around us and economics is no different. Economists must apply scientific principles to all areas of economic research - markets, labour, development, game theory, choice under risk and uncertainty.

This module will help you understand the experimental methods undertaken by economists to solve statistical questions related with an optimal experimental design and how to apply them to real-world economic problems.
