Econometrics 2

Module code: EC2019

During the course of this module you will start to pose your own economic questions that influence policies and can be tested using econometric principles. Questions can range from how immigration affects local residents' employment opportunities to how to explain the evolution of earnings gap in gender in the past decade. You can then collect data from major economic survey data sets including the Current Population Survey (CPS) of the USA and the Labour Force Survey (LFS) of the UK and integrate your econometrics results and support your arguments with empirical findings.

Building on your analytical techniques from Econometrics 1 you will use econometric analysis (panel data, IV, etc.) to answer your question with the awareness of the limitation of the used econometrics method used.
