This module will enable you to understand enterprise and entrepreneurship together with the role of the entrepreneur and what constitutes innovation and technology. We will focus on the thinking behind growth oriented businesses. Enterprise involves risk so we will discuss how entrepreneurs manage and mitigate uncertainty and risk. The module will involve case studies relevant to the topic of the major and input from entrepreneurs explaining the ideas and innovation behind their businesses. We will also look at the structures behind businesses and the way in which businesses grow.
