Brain and Behaviour

Module code: PS7552

This module provides a comprehensive overview of the structure and functional organisation of the brain and how it regulates key functions underlying behaviour. We will explore methodologies used and how animal models of behaviour can provide important insights into the functioning of the brain. We will also seek to understand mechanisms of brain dysfunction associated with psychological disorders and diseases of the central nervous system, as well as the effects of drugs on brain and behaviour.
