Module code: MN7286

Module co-ordinator: Dr Richard Godfrey

Module Outline

Research Methods will introduce you to the dissertation process including topic selection, problem identification, preparing literature reviews, formulating research questions, developing research designs, presenting data and writing up the final document for submission.

Your dissertation is the most substantive piece of work that you will undertake during your studies. The dissertation is an independent research project, which will provide you with an opportunity to examine, in depth, a topic of particular relevance to your interests. The dissertation normally involves diagnosing a management, organisational, business or industry problem, devising and evaluating solutions and producing realistic, acceptable recommendations for action.
