Developing HR Practitioner Skills

Module code: MN2128

This module focuses on developing key HR Practitioner skills, through a series of workshops and seminars.

Within the module you will have the opportunity to design and develop a recruitment and selection process, demonstrate the skills required for discipline handling as well as designing a HR solution for a real life situation.  Previously, our students have worked on a project with British Gas, relating to uncovering the barriers to progression for women. The project involved interviewing employees and presenting evidence based solutions to managers at British Gas.

The module also focuses on evidencing the CIPD core behaviours of professional courage and influence, valuing people, working inclusively, passion for learning, insights focused, situational decision making and commercial drive.
