Dissertation

Module code: HA7205

The dissertation is central to your degree. It is the culmination of your studies, allowing you to put into practice what you have learnt from the modules you take earlier in your course. It allows you to research and write on a topic of your choice. Guidance will be provided through talks and workshops on selecting a topic, planning, researching and writing the dissertation, and through a supervisor who will work with you after you have submitted your dissertation proposal. You will present your work in an unassessed presentation, and will be given formative feedback on this and on a writing sample which you will show to your supervisor prior to submitting the completed work.

HA7205 is a 15,000 word dissertation. If you take this module you will also take HA7204, HA7206 and HA7207.
