Spatial Information Science

Spatial information is information that identifies a specific location or geographical area. It is usually stored as coordinates or topology, and in this module you will explore the nature of spatial information and the current paradigms for computer storage. We will become familiar with the major processing algorithms in spatial data analysis, transform data using matrices and analyse and manipulate data using the R statistical software.
