Modern Literature

On this module you will study a range of texts from the first half of the twentieth century, placing them in relation to historical and cultural developments. You'll learn about theories of modern literature that were developed during these years, as well as considering more recent criticism, in order to enable you to identify and analyse the dominant themes and forms of the period.
