Engineering Management Project

Module code: EG7302

In this module you will produce a research design, which will be based on an appropriate methodology and you will describe, analyse and critique your chosen topic which may be drawn from major management issues, processes, sectors, firms, products or any other engineering issue.

You will select, justify and use appropriate literature, qualitative and quantitative techniques and tools to analyse and critically evaluate your chosen topic and formulate practical recommendations for organisations. After synthesising the above process, you will produce a project report which displays critical thought, effective insights and where appropriate – fills a gap in the existing research literature. You will demonstrate independent inquiry by developing standard techniques or applying them innovatively in evaluating your topic.

Leading the project effectively, you will demonstrate professional responsibility for the delivery of the study, management of your resources, and critical reflection on what you have achieved by your work.
