If you develop an interest in control engineering, this module will allow you to extend your knowledge and skills further to analyse and design control systems that work with digital, rather than analogue signals. Digital feedback systems are more common nowadays because the control algorithms are implemented via a computer unit. As part of this module you'll learn how computer-controlled systems are interfaced with common electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components to provide high-performance engineering systems.
