This is a specialist Electronic and Electrical Engineering module where you'll learn how to design electronic systems that can transform voltages and convert electrical currents from direct to alternating current, and vice-versa. It introduces you to a range of modern power semiconductor devices, their utilisation in switched mode power converter systems, while covering basic circuit operation and steady-state converter modelling and analysis.
