The fall of communism, the Gulf and Iraq wars, the Greece debt crisis and Brexit are just some of the key historical events that have led to substantial changes in economic policies since the end of World War 2. During the course of this module you will look at specific major economic and financial from selected countries around the world and how these events impacted modern day life. You will explore the theories and economic models that were put forward by economists to offer contextual explanations for how financial and economic activities during these times may have led to these events.
