Formulating start-up strategy

This module will introduce you to the aspects required to start up a venture, such as identifying customers, considering who the stakeholders are and looking at the critical needs of a business before - and in the early stages of - creation. It will explain through practical demonstrations and case studies how identifying a technology is essential to provide a necessary service not only in the market at the current time but also one which has the ability to evolve and cope with competition. It will demonstrate different strategies for raising finance to produce critical product in a timely manner and assess the ability of the technology to perform to customer expectations. It will explain how to protect the intellectual property associated with your technology and how to test the ability of your product to disrupt the current market. The module will also explain how to increase the value of your product using value chain strategy.
