This module will provide a comprehensive introduction on how to read, understand, modify, write, and debug bioinformatics scripts, with a particular emphasis on developing and using effective programming strategies to solve bioinformatics problems. We will explore the relevance of UNIX operating system and programming for bioinformatics and demonstrate how to apply the appropriate statistical analysis of bioinformatics data.
