Jim Donaldson

Jim Donaldson is the Governor of HMP Leicester a Reception and Resettlement prison based in the city centre of Leicester.

Jim has been employed by HMPPS for over 30 years and has experience in roles across a range of types of prison from working with Juveniles to the high security estate.

He is interested in how the university can use research to help steer direction of how prisons work with those held in custody, particularly around addressing the issues that lead people to offend.
