Medical Schools UK EDI Network Online Meeting 2022

The first Medical Schools EDI Leads meeting was held in Newcastle in October 2018, to establish a UK network to share good practices around equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and develop joint working around key challenges. Since then, representatives from across the United Kingdom have joined together to discuss topics such as gender equality and the Athena Swan Charter, intersectionality, mentoring, LGBTQ+ allyship, bullying and racism, and the impacts of COVID-19 on medical school teaching.

We are pleased to host the fourth meeting of the network at Leicester, as an interactive online session. The main programme will be running from  10.00am to 4.00pm on Wednesday 12 October 2022. However there will be a soft start/end to the day with networking opportunities available in our online space from 9.30am to 4.30pm.  The meeting will be free to attend. This meeting is aimed at EDI leads.

Details of the programme will be available on these pages shortly.
