Module Content
- Develop strategies to help you with your academic reading
- Explore ways of expanding your general academic and subject specific vocabulary
- Recognize common organizational features of texts
- Learn how to understand assessment briefs and plan and develop ideas for assessment on your master's
- Practise presenting on your academic subject
- Describe, compare and present data related to your academic subject
- Practise using paraphrasing strategies
- Analyse and use cohesive devices to improve your writing
- Apply the key stages of a good introduction and conclusion to your writing
