Dr Rikesh Panchal
Research Associate
I am an analytical chemist and an expert in atmospheric chemistry. I have experience in collaborating with various industrial partners which involved testing air quality sensors and air purifiers, resulting in several industrial reports. My current projects include collaborations with the University of Nairobi which involves establishing an air quality monitoring station in the city of Nairobi, a collaboration with the South African Medical Research Council and University of Witwatersrand in which simultaneous measurements of indoor and outdoor air quality is being made for health research. And finally, joint research projects with Leicester City Council, one being the determination of commuter exposure to NO2 and PM2.5 and another being, wood burning source apportionment and improving the understanding of PM2.5 in low traffic neighbourhoods.
